Pasta Salad





for the recipe:
1 box colored rotini
1 red bell pepper
1 yellow/orange bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 cup of mushrooms
1 onion
3 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp parsley
1 tbsp basil
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
2 tbsp mayo
2 tbsp milk
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp bbq sauce
3/4 cup sour cream
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp olive oil
salt and pepper(to taste)


Cook rotini according to package directions. Meanwhile, grab a pan and heat the olive oil until hot. Combine the bell peppers, onions, garlic, salt, and pepper and place them in the olive oil. Saute over medium-high heat until the vegetables soften. This should take about 10 minutes. After the vegetables have cooked thoroughly, add the mushrooms, lemon juice, paprika, parsley, basil. teriyaki sauce, mayo, milk, and brown sugar into the pan and cook for about 5 more minutes until the mushrooms are ready. The vegetable mixture should then look like this:



Now, take this vegetable mixture and combine it with your cooked rotini. Add the ketchup, sour cream, bbq sauce, and more salt&pepper (if you'd like) to the mix. Enjoy :)
